I just wanted to add this sweet poem that Shadow's blog buddy Bear sent to me.

I am breathing a bit easier now and preoccupied with Allison's health needs. I still miss Shadow and was touched by the fact that a Vet that saw him months ago remembered him. (No one who met him would forget)

We now have a new dog (a little too soon) but he is starting to fit in. He will never be Shadow nor will he replace him. He is definitely his own dog, too busy to sit down and write a blog but nevertheless, we are not dogless which was very sad....
